God created us in His own image.

• Genesis 1:27

  ²⁷So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them.

We are more than physical, we are spiritual. The Hebrew word for spirit is rauch, which means:wind, breath, air, spirit.

God breathed life into us.

• Genesis 2:7

  ⁷ And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living being.
